Our simulator flights offer a unique opportunity to experience the feeling of really flying as the pilot of a huge commercial aircraft. In a Full Flight Simulator, the cockpit is designed to resemble the original down to the smallest detail, with a perfect visual system and engine sounds that make the illusion incredibly realistic. You can even see raindrops on the cockpit and feel the braking effect on landing. During your flight, an experienced commercial airplane pilot will supervise you, giving clear instructions and ensuring that the instruments are operated correctly.

Good to know:

Lufthansa and other airlines train their pilots in Lufthansa Aviation Training's 46 full-flight flight simulators. The fleet ranges from the Airbus A320 and the "Jumbo Jet" Boeing 747 to the giant of the skies, the Airbus A380.

„Be a pilot for a day“ – the procedure:

1. Briefing:

Get to know how an aircraft works and learn about the most important instruments and controls during an instruction by an experienced pilot.

2. Experience flight:

Under expert guidance, take off and land the aircraft at an international airport in small flight teams of maximum 4 persons.

3. Debriefing:

Get a "maneuver critique" and receive your personal flight certificate. Afterwards, enjoy exciting insights into the world of aviation during a personal round of talks.

4. Additional Options:

Not enough time for the full program or have a larger group? We will be happy to work out an individual concept and alternative program for you, such as a tour of the cockpit simulators in groups of 4 or 5, visit to the other training areas, short "taster flights," a meal, or a pilot Q&A. There are many possibilities, so feel free to let us know your wishes.
