As a stock dealer on the trading floor

Your adventure begins in the lobby of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Over a glass of champagne you get to know your trading coach, who familiarizes you with the highlights of the stock exchange programme. Then you start on a tour through the Frankfurt Stock Exchange - the heart of Germany's securities trade beats here. A stock exchange expert explains the history and function of the establishment with a long tradition and from the visitors' gallery you observe the activity on the trading floor and get a taste of the atmosphere of international stock exchange trading.

In the startup briefing after lunch you get an initial introduction to day trading and learn the basic rules of stock exchange trading that is timed precisely down to the second. In the following software briefing you become familiar with the tools used to identify and evaluate market price curves. With these tools you venture the step onto the stock exchange floor. During a training round a starting portfolio is defined with which all participants jointly work on the EUREX - the largest futures exchange in the world - for 30 minutes and become familiar with the current market development.

At the team meeting you then specify which market you want to utilize in what way: controlled risk on the DAX stock market / New Market or go all out on the EUREX futures market? Taking a 'long' or 'short' position, i.e. in expectation of rising or falling markets? Focusing on individual figures or index developments?

In the trader competition you have 90 minutes to expand the starting balance on a long-term basis with your team. You have the index data and news tickers of all world stock exchanges at your disposal in real time. The coach supports you with technical assistance at all times - but don't hope for tips for the right tactics. You alone decide what strategies you pursue and what risks you want to take so as to become the beaming winner in the end.

Then the exchange closes its doors. Together you evaluate the insights gained in the course of the game and analyze the development of the markets in the past one and a half hours. The individual analysis on the basis of the order books reveals the strengths and weaknesses of the strategies applied. Finally each participant receives his/her certificate and the winning team is awarded the title of 'Traders of the Day' in a small champagne ceremony.

'Trader for a Day' can also be held in trading rooms in Hamburg, Bremen, Münster and Dortmund or even as a mobile highlight at your event.
