Suborbital flight – the world from the outside

Privately financed spaceflight vehicles designed to transport future passengers to an altitude of over 100 km are currently still in the development phase. The successful X Prize performance of the Scaled Composites project 'SpaceShipOne' and the appearance of English entrepreneur Richard Branson on the scene with Virgin Galactic give rise to hopes that this technology may soon qualify for approval.

According to their spokespersons, some of the other more than 25 competing projects are developed to such an extent that their flights could be carried out successfully according to the X Prize conditions (three persons at an altitude of 100 km, repetition of the launch after two weeks) in the next years. Especially Rocketplane from Oklahoma plans for opening competition with Virgin Galactic at the earliest point of starting time and the most attractive ticket price. The race for the first 100 seats for private astronauts is on.

A down payment of 10% of the expected ticket costs will not be requested of the space tourists entered on the waiting list until approval of the first suborbital vehicles by the aeronautics authority is imminent and the ticket and charter prices can thus be negotiated. This down payment serves as confirmation of the order of ranking on the waiting list.

If you would like to arrange a possible launch date or have your name entered on the free waiting list, please send a mail.
